Funeral service for 28 year old Mr. Vernell Jackson of Clarksville, TX who went to be with his Lord July 17, 2024 will be Saturday. July 27. 2024 at 11:00 am at Citizens Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Donald Rosser eulogist. Interment:  Martin Shiloh cemetery. Clarksville, TX under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St., Clarksville, TX. 

Viewing will be Friday, July 26, 2024 at Citizens Funeral Home chapel from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 
 

Vernell Jackson was born on August 26, 1995 to Sharon Forte and Raymond Jackson Jr.
in Paris, Texas. He departed this Earthly life and entered Heaven’s Gates on Wednesday, July
17, 2024.
Vernell attended Clarksville Independent School District. He loved MMA Fighting, drawing, listening to music, and rapping. Vernell loved his family. His true love was his Grandmothers, Mable Parker and Florine Forte.
Vernell was preceded in death by his twin brothers Jesus 1 and Jesus 2 Hernandez, and his grandfather, H.B. Rosser Sr..
Those left to cherish his many memories are his mother, Sharon Hernandez; father, Raymond Jackson Jr.; siblings, Selena Hernandez, Jose Hernandez Jr., Roverto Hernandez,
Larry Jackson III, and Ternell Forte; grandparents, Mable Parker, Raymond Jackson Sr., and Florine Forte; aunts, Krystal Burns (Arlo), Brenda Forte (Bobby), Betty Jo Jackson, Geanite Jackson, and Margie Ricks (Ronnie); uncle, Eugene Forte; niece and nephew, Evelyn Hernandez and Jose Hernandez III; very special stepfather, Jose Hernandez Sr. and a host of extended relatives and friends.
