Ms. Roby Jo Wiseman was born January 25, 1953 in Fulbright, Texas to Alice Thomas and Joe Simpson.  She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and again in her later years of her life and became a member of St. James Baptist Church.

She received her formal education in the Clarksville Independent School District.  Over the years she enjoyed the journey of culinary arts and displayed love to so many with and through her food. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - such as fishing, gardening, snacking, caring for others, and an occasional cursing is something you could always look forward to with her.  She definitely had a way with words.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice L. Thomas, her father, Joe L. Simpson, and her baby brother, Mickey D. Thomas.  

Roby passed away in Dallas, Texas on May 18, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.  

She is survived by her children:  Rebecca Tinnell, Bertha Burton, Loretta Haynes, Edward Burton, Christopher Wiseman, Dwayne Wiseman, and adopted son, Zytavious Richardson.  16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a few son in-laws, a few daughter in-laws, host of nieces, nephews, and a few life time friends.
