Funeral service for Mrs. Peggy Johnson Miller of Clarksville, TX that went to be with her Lord August 29, 2022 in Focus Care at Clarksville, Clarksville, TX will be Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E, Church St, Clarksville, TX with Pastor Harold Massey, eulogist.
Viewing will be Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Peggy M. Johnson- Miller was born on April 7, 1949 to the late James Johnson
and Clara "Elena" Pouges-Johnson.
Peggy attended Cheatham School and graduated in 1967. Peggy Married her
high school sweetheart Raymond "Tip" Miller and during this marriage 2 children
were born. She was a long time Employee of Clarksville Nursing Center and later
went to Regency Nursing Facility currently Focus Care where she retired after 40 years
total from Nursing.
Peggy was a Faithful member of St. James Baptist Church, Clarksville Texas
until her health began to decline. She never met a stranger, she was kind to all
mankind. Peggy loved Good gospel Singing, especially The Voices of Praise.
She leaves behind her husband Raymond C. Miller Ir of Clarksville, Texas, one
son, Kevin C. Miller (Marion) of Jacksonville, Florida, one daughter, Cheryl E. Miller
of Clarksville, Texas, sister, Doris Wilson (James) of Dallas, TX., brother, Herbert
Johnson (Margaret) of Clarksville, TX, along with seven grandchildren, Ashley, Terez,
Kevin Jr., DeJohn, Ramon, and Tanesha, fourteen great grandchildren, a host of
nieces and nephews, a very special lifetime friend, Lois Johnson, and two special God
daughters, Marion Quinney-Coleman and Tonya Coulter-Jordan.
