Funeral service for McKinley Barksdale Jr. 75 years old of Clarksville, TX who went to be with his Lord August 10, 2022 in Clarksville Nursing Center, will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX with Rev. S. S. Carreathers, eulogist.

McKinley Barksdale Jr. was born on
March 28, 1947, in Boxelder, Texas to the late McKinley Barksdale Sr. and Zora Lee Thompson Barksdale.
McKinley accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Shawnee Baptist Church. McKinley was a graduate of Cheatham High School class of 1965. After graduating he worked in the fields, Red River Army Depot, Stoneville, and Annona Manufacturing.
McKinley met and married Brenda J Harris, and they were together for a total of 51 years.
McKinley became a father to five beautiful daughters and a loving step father to a bonus son.
McKinley was preceded in death by his father, McKinley Barksdale Sr., mother, Zora Lee Thompson Barksdale, brother, Sammy Barksdale, wife Brenda Barksdale, daughters, Tamika Harris and Jennifer Barksdale, and son-in-law, James Woodberry.
McKinley is mourned by:
