A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:30 pm at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, TX with L.E. Coles, eulogist, under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX
A viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, TX.
Ms. Mary Francis Hawkins was born on April 16, 1966, in Clarksville, Texas, to James Wilson and Virginia Beal.
On Sunday, April 5, 2026, she peacefully departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest, welcomed into Heaven’s gates.
Mary received her early education at Avery Elementary School in Avery, Texas, and later graduated from Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas. During her school years, she was known for her athleticism and competitive spirit, excelling in Track & Field where she proudly earned first place honors.
Mary was a dedicated and hardworking woman who found success in her career as a salesperson at Fry Electronics, where she was recognized with multiple Top Sales awards. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to connect with others made her stand out in all she pursued.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Mary loved listening to music, dancing, watching African shows, playing dominos, and spending time talking with loved ones on the phone. Above all, she cherished her family deeply.
She was a protector, a nurturer, and a constant source of love and strength for those closest to her.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving father, James Wilson; her beloved children, Louis, Jonathan, and Justin; her siblings, Angela, Sharon, Mike, Gerald, Renee, Brad, James, Vanessa, Andrew, and Richard; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Hawkins, Jaelyn Page, Cherish Hawkins, Tracy Morgan, Anaria Hawkins, Justice Hawkins, Kennadi Hawkins, Ishiah Hawkins, Jonathan Hawkins Jr., Kierra Hawkins, and Josiah Hawkins; her bonus grandchildren, Kyren Lewis and Skyler Reyes; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Beal, and three brothers, who welcomed her home with open arms.
Mary Francis Hawkins will be remembered for her strength, her love for family, her vibrant spirit, and the joyshe brought into the lives of others. Her legacy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved he
