Funeral service for 63 year old Eva Ceasar who went to be with her Lord Friday, March 10, 2023 at her residence in Clarksville, TX, will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, 501 S. Walnut Street, Clarksville, TX with Pastor P.A. Porchia, officiating and Rev. Deryl Collins eulogist.
Public viewing will be Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Citizens Funeral Home chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville. TX.
Masks are recommended.
Ever “Eva” Lajean Ceasar was born to the parentage of MT and Vera Mae (Duncan) Ceasar of Clarksville, Texas on December 20, 1959. Eva attended and graduated Clarksville High School in 1978. Eva was baptized and joined Zion Traveler Baptist Church at an early age, and attended every opportunity she could. She had strong faith and believed in Christ.
Eva loved her grandchildren and often spent time with them. She spoiled all her grands as well as nieces and nephews. She loved bingo and played many games with her best friends.
Eva trusted the Almighty God and answered his call to join her parents, MT and Vera Ceasar Sr.; siblings, MT Ceasar Jr., Donald Collins Sr., Bobbie Lee Ceasar, and Glenda Faye Ceasar on March 10, 2023 at 8:18 in the morning, surrounded by her family.
As the bible states in Proverbs 10:7, “The memory of the righteous is a blessing…” and Eva leaves many great memories to be cherished by her son, Derrick (Lyneeka) Ceasar of Clarksville, Texas; sisters and brothers, Chandra (Ronnie) Johnson and Janice (Willie) Edwards both of Clarksville, Texas, Helen Scales of Garland Texas, Marvin (Marie) Ceasar of Greenville, Texas, Elder Harold Duncan of Duncanville, Texas, Roy Lee (Belle) Ceasar of Natchitoches, Louisiana. She also leaves behind, nine grandchildren, Demontrae, Paradise, Darianna, Tykeya, Akeyl, Rianna, Key’Zareon, Na’Quavus, and Diamond; six great-grandchildren, Nova, Nyla, Joelle, Noah, Legend, and Ny’Sier, special nephews, Santanna, Saxton, and Sebastian; special friends, Raymond Watkins, Linda Garnes, Cynthia Garnes, Sarah Dawson, Tina Thompkins, Rachael Woods, Loretta Scott, Joe Alice Hayes, John and Martha McPeters, and Patricia Threadgill. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
