Anthony Dornell English

Funeral service for Mr. Anthony D. English of Bogata, TX, formerly of Clarksville, TX went to be with his Lord Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence in Bogata, TX will be Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Citizens Funeral Home chapel 500 E. Church St., Clarksville, TX  with Rev. Harold Massey eulogist. Interment will be at Fairground Cemetery, Clarksville, TX. 

Viewing will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 from         4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. 
 

Mr. Anthony Dornell English was born April 11, 1954 to the late Nathaniel English and the late Thelma Johnson English. He accepted Christ at an early age at St. James Baptist Church. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1973. He married Mary “Kathy” English in 1980. They were blessed with three loving children.

Anthony loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and lending a helping hand where needed. Anthony was often the comedian of the family. He loved cracking jokes and putting smiles on others’ faces. 

On September 25, 2023, Anthony danced his way into heaven to be with his Lord & Savior. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, sisters - Karla Kaye Turner & Beverly Ruth Coleman; brothers - Lennox English & Benjamin English. 

Those left to cherish his memories are:
Daughters: Keyanna (James) Murphy (Clarksville, TX) and Kawanna Gray (Dallas, TX)

Son: Anthony Martee English (Paris, TX)
Sisters: Jessalyn Hunt and Tina Wooten (Clarksville, TX)
Grandchildren: Rayshondra Murphy, Jamie Murphy, ZakahriMurphy, D’Anthony English, Xavier Jackson, Kametrice Gray, De’Antron Webb, Ja’Quory Webster

Two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
