Reatha Rose Coles started her expedition on December 3, 1927, in Acworth, TX. Her conductors were her parents (Ed and Estella Rose) who preceded her in voyage to the great Devine. As the early part of her walk began in Acworth, TX, she became a faithful member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church and received her education in Acworth. On her Christian journey, she later united with the Martin Shiloh Baptist Church, under the shepherd-ship of her son, Bishop L.E. Coles.

She navigated from Miss to Mrs when she married (Lee Marion Coles) with whom her union will be renewed in eternal bliss. In their years of marriage, their adventures included the birth of four children, Lee Coles, Charles Cole, Cynthia Cole, and Ray Cole, all of Clarksville, TX.

Along the way, Reatha was employed and retired from Clarksville Independent School District. She loved God, family, and lived a long and prosperous life. After 96 years of visiting her earthly home, Reatha took wings to heaven February, 14, 2024, as she reaches her final destination, her grandson, Charles Cole Jr., her brothers and sisters, Eddie V. Rose, Willa Lee Tarrant, Noble Rose, and Algie Rose, and three precious daughter-in-laws, Ella Cole, Mary Cole, and Shirley Cole, are there to escort her into the presence of her Lord and Savior.
